We loved our 2 week stay at VML. For a busy family it offers complete privacy and a rest due to having resident housekeeping and excellent cook, so everything is catered and thought of for you. The villa is beautifully decorated with furniture imported from Bali, fantastically equipped and comfortable (all mod cons, good WIFI, netflix, lots of beach / pool towels). There are lots of beaches and beach restaurants / shacks to visit by car and by boat, all serving amazing food and good wine. Gavin's information pack was really helpful, he has sourced the best places for us to visit and enjoy. It really does look like the photos, no filter or editing needed.

A fantastic holiday…it’s like having your very own private boutique hotel…with staff to look after you. We didn’t have to shop, cook or clear up or wash up all week. It was all done by the amazing caretaker and housekeeper couple who both speak English and he’s an ex-chef. Great for total relaxation. I will definitely be returning,,,

Amazing villa with the best staff! Sensational infinity pool overlooking the entire bay with breathtaking views. Hiking trails surround the villa and beautiful beaches below at the bay offer many water sport and boating activities to enjoy! Prepare to eat very well :)

a remarkable time - of particular note were the housekeepers Pavel and Mia, the former of whom my partner and I often reminisce about - such a hearty sense of humour coupled with an encyclopedic knowledge of the country and all the relevant spots can scarcely go ignored - we had such a wonderful time with the pets too - Mona, Molina, and 'the Cat' were our constant companions, even following us all the way to the local monastery further up the hill (the inhabitants of which were more than welcoming of our impromptu visit as the sun was settling down for the night) - if you have the dolla to spare then you will not be disappointed with the attention to detail, warmth, expertise, and care that have gone into this place and that continue to be plugged by lovely Pavel and Mia

Villa Mona Lisa is stunning from the inside-out. The level of service from booking, arriving, questions, wants, needs, and follow through are exceptional. Pavle and Maja -the caretakers are extremely kind, knowledgeable and accommodating to make your experience magical. We just returned after 10 days there and my family is still raving about the food and ambiance. These are intangible qualities by the people there. The location of this villa makes it one of the nicest holiday accommodations around. It was a pleasure to be hosted by the wonderful Pavle and Maja who were knowledgeable local sights and went out their way to make our stay more convenient and comfortable at every turn. Being relatively close to the center of Budva meant that the usual amenities were within a short drive whilst the peace and quiet of a private sanctuary was always within reach. We have just returned from a magical stay in Villa Mona Lisa.  Having never been to Montenegro, I didn't know what to expect but it was everything and more than I could have hoped for.  The Star of the stay was the Villa Itself, which was was supremely comfortable and luxurious.  We were spoilt from dawn to dusk by the lovely couple with delicious cooking and constant pampering.  I cannot recommend this Villa more highly.  A real joy to stay there.
